
IceDogs Jump to Early Lead, Cruise to Win

Tonight the Niagara IceDogs faced the Barrie Colts at home.
The Dogs got off to a quick start, with Danil Gushchin scoring the first of the night. This was followed by Peters on the penalty kill. Gushchin got in his second of the night 15 minutes in, and defensemen Dakota Betts finished with a power play goal. Barrie was able to put one on the board during their power play with less than a minute to go.
After 20 minutes of play, the score sat at 4-1 in favour of your IceDogs.
The second period had a slower start but ultimately saw one power play goal from Barrie with less than a minute left.
After the second the score was 4-2.
The third period saw lots of action. Some highlights include, Danil Guschin's hat trick and Brice Cooke's first OHL goal.
Ultimately, the Dogs took the win 8-5!
