Niagara IceDogs News Release

Tonight the Niagara IceDogs are welcoming the North Bay Battalion into the Meridian Centre for the second time this season. The last time the Battalion visited Niagara, Kevin He made it rain teddy bears in the 6-5 IceDogs win.

Coming into tonights matchup, the North Bay Battalion are ranked top 10 in the Canadian Hockey League rankings while they are sitting 1 point behind first place in the OHL and lead the Central Division. The IceDogs are sitting in 5th in the Central Division with 25 points.

Your IceDog to watch tonight is Michael Podolioukh. It's his first time facing off against his former teammates at home and is looking to pot his first goal for the Dogs. Sent to North Bay in the same trade to acquire Podolioukh, is Pasquale Zito. The Detroit Redwings prospect has almost a point-per-game record with his new club and will look to continue his streak tonight.
