The Niagara IceDogs used a total team effort to beat the Owen Sound Attack 7-4 Wednesday night in Owen Sound.
Brendan Perlini opened the scoring with his 15th goal of the season, just 1:09 into the first period. A power play goal from Chris Bigras tied the game, but Cody Payne restored the one-goal IceDogs lead at 14:18. A late goal by Jacob Busch made it 2-2 after 20 minutes.
Jonah Gadjovich made it 3-2 Attack 5:44 into the middle frame. Anthony DiFruscia answered with his 10th of the season, before Payne's second of the game made it 4-3 IceDogs.
Vince Dunn made it 5-3 for the IceDogs, before Erik Bradford made it a one-goal game less than a minute later. Billy Jenkins buried a nice pass from Ho-Sang to make it 6-4. The assist extended Ho-Sang's point streak to an impressive eight games. Carter Verhaeghe added an empty netter for good measure to make it a 7-4 final.
Brandon Hope made 25 saves in the win.
The IceDogs are back at it Saturday night when they take on the Colts in Barrie.
