
IceCaps, Pirates to Compete for Eimskip Port-to-Port Challenge Cup

The St. John's IceCaps, Portland Pirates and international shipping company Eimskip today announced details of the inaugural Eimskip Port-to-Port Challenge between the American Hockey League Atlantic Division rivals.
Eimskip, which has offices in both port cities, is the title partner of the Eimskip Port-to-Port Challenge Cup which will be awarded to the team that finishes with the best win-loss record in the remaining nine contests between the IceCaps and Pirates.
The IceCaps launch a three-game home series this week versus the Pirates starting on Wednesday. Games will follow on Friday and Saturday night. Puck drop for all games is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. E.T. Pregame show begins a half hour before puck drop.
