
IceCaps Assign Tommy Maxwell to Eagles

LAS VEGAS, Nev. - The Colorado Eagles, proud affiliate of the NHL's Winnipeg Jets & the AHL's St. John's IceCaps, announced today that forward Tommy Maxwell has been assigned to the team. Maxwell is entering his 6th professional season, having spent most of his career at the AHL level.
Maxwell (6-foot-2, 200-pounds) has played a total of 247 pro games, 151 coming in the AHL, mostly with the Manitoba Moose. For his career, the right-handed shooting forward has recorded 46 points (17-29-46) and 781 penalty minutes, including two seasons with over 200 PIMs.
He traveled to Las Vegas, Nev. to meet the team yesterday, and took part in their pre-game skate today. Colorado will take on the Wranglers tonight and tomorrow night to start a three-game road trip that will end in Ontario, Calif. on Saturday.
A second roster move was also made today; forward A.J. Hau was placed on the IR.
