
IceCaps Agree to Terms With Four Skaters

St. John's IceCaps News Release
The St. John's IceCaps are pleased to announce they have agreed to terms with Yasin Cisse, Will O'Neill, Blair Riley and Ryan Schnell on American Hockey League contracts. As per club policy, terms of the agreements were not disclosed.
Cisse, 21, played in 27 games with the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada of the QMJHL last season. In that time, the right-handed forwarded recorded 14 points (8G, 6A) and 27 penalty minutes. He also suited up for 13 games with Boston University for two assists and 16 penalty minutes. He was originally drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the fifth round, 150th overall, in the 2010 NHL Draft.
O'Neill, 25, played in 59 games with the St. John's IceCaps during the 2012-13 season. In that span, the Salem, MA native recorded 21 points (3G, 18A) and 32 penalty minutes. He was originally drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the seventh round, 210th overall, in the 2006 NHL Draft.
Riley, 27, played in 74 games with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League last season. The Chase, BC native recorded 15 points (7G, 8A) and 165 penalty minutes. He has played in 144 career AHL games between Springfield, San Antonio Peoria and Bridgeport for 29 career points (15G, 14A) and 251 career penalty minutes.
Schnell, 24, split the 2012-13 season between St. John's and Colorado. In 22 games with the IceCaps, the left-handed forward recorded 57 penalty minutes and in 12 games with the Eagles, he earned seven points (4G, 3A) AND 105 penalty minutes. The Cary, IL native has played in 45 career AHL games between Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and St. John's for three career points (2G, 1A) and 140 career penalty minutes.
