ICE Sign Turner McIntyre to WHL Standard Player Agreement

The Winnipeg ICE are pleased to announce the signing of forward Turner McIntyre to a WHL Standard Player Agreement.

McIntyre, 16, from St. Albert, Alberta, was selected by the ICE in the tenth round, 217th overall in the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft.

The 5'8", 160 pound forward has 10 points (four goals and six assists) in 13 games this season with the Red Deer Chiefs in the Alberta Elite U18 Hockey League.

Last season, McIntyre played 33 games with the St. Albert Flyers U16 AAA hockey team registering 52 points (22 goals and 30 assists).

The ICE are back in action with a pair of games, both starting at 7:05pm at the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming Arena this weekend. Tomorro (Friday), the Swift Current Broncos are in town followed by the Prince Albert Raiders Saturday. (6:30 pregame show on CFRW 1290 AM / WHL Live via CHL TV).
