The Winnipeg ICE have recalled defenceman Chase Bambrick from the Lethbridge Hurricanes of the Alberta Elite U18 Hockey League and goaltender Noah Stenvig from the Delta Hockey Academy U18 Prep Team of the Canadian Sport School U18 Hockey League.
Bambrick, 16, has registered 15 points (four goals and 11 assists) along with 10 penalty minutes in 27 games with the U18 Hurricanes this season.
The 5'11", 172 pound blueliner from Nelson, British Columbia, played 37 games last season with the U18 Hurricanes registering 11 points (three goals and eight assists) along with 12 penalty minutes.
Bambrick was selected by the ICE in the eighth round, 156th overall in the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft.
Stenvig, 17, from Campbell River, British Columbia, has appeared in nine regular season games sporting a 3-6 record, 4.22 goals against average, .885 save percentage and one shut out.
Last season, Stenvig played 16 regular season games with the Delta Hockey Academy U17 Prep Team registering a 14-1-1 record, 2.32 goals against average and .908 save percentage culminating with a league championship.
The 6'4", 186 pound netminder was selected by the ICE in the eighth round, 165th overall in the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft.
Winnipeg returns to action tonight in Lethbridge (7:30 on CFRW 1290 AM / 8:00 on WHL Live via CHL TV).
Next home action for the ICE is Wednesday, February 1st at the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming Arena versus the Saskatoon Blades at 7:00 for the annual Food Drive Game presented by Subway. Wednesday will also be the first student night of the month where students have access to $10.00 tickets with a valid student ID.
