The Winnipeg ICE have reassigned defenseman Omen Harmacy to the Winnipeg Thrashers of the Manitoba U18 AAA Hockey League.

Harmacy registered two shots on goal in last night's 7-0 victory over the Swift Current Broncos. He played his first WHL game November 7th and was +1 in a 7-5 win over the Red Deer Rebels.

The 16 year old from Winnipeg has 11 points (two goals and nine assists) and 42 penalty minutes in 18 games with the Thrashers this season.

The 5'9", 170 pound blue liner was selected by the ICE in the eighth round, 168th overall in the 2020 WHL Prospects Draft.

The ICE continue a seven game homestand Saturday night at 8:00 against the Medicine Hat Tigers and Sunday afternoon at 5:00 versus the Prince Albert Raiders.

Saturday, November 27th at 8:00 pm, when the ICE host the Medicine Hat Tigers, is dedicated to the Diabetes Education Resource for Children and Adolescents at the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming Arena located on the University of Manitoba campus. 24-7 Intouch is a premium supporter of the Diabetes Education Resource for Children and Adolescents game night.
