
Ice Pilots Announce Subway Alumni Game Roster

Pensacola, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots are proud to announce the teams for the Subway Alumni Game presented by WEAR TV 3 to be played this Saturday at 5:05 p.m. before the Ice Pilots home game vs. Mississippi at 7:05 p.m. One ticket is good for both games on Saturday.
The two teams will be called Team Quenneville and Team Calder both Chad Quenneville and Shane Calder will be inducted as charter members of the Ice Pilots/Subway Hall of Fame during the first intermission of the Ice Pilots home game vs. Mississippi.
The following alumni players will be playing for Team Quenneville: Chad Quenneville, Craig Brown, Martin "Choo Choo" Chouinard, Scott Malone, Andrew Rogers along with Ice Pilots owner Tim Kerr and Ice Pilots equipment manager John Krouse. The senior league members playing on Team Quenneville will be Wayne Dwyer, Peggy Humbardt, John Maclean, Mike Olson and Sean Kitch. WEAR TV 3 Sports Director Dan Shugart will be the honorary coach of Team Quenneville.
The following alumni players will be playing for Team Calder: Shane Calder, Christian Sbrocca, Pierre Gendron, Scott LaGrand, Kelly Hultgren, Eon MacFarlane, Sam Deitelbaum along with WEAR TV 3 news anchorman Bob Solarski. The senior league members playing on Team Calder will be Kurt Detzler, Brian McDonald, Ian Swance and Kevin Rudzki. Pensacola News Journal Sports Editor Joe Culpepper will be the honorary coach of Team Calder.
The following players will represent the Jr. Ice Pilots playing in the Subway Alumni Game. Representing the Mites division are Michol Irwin, Davis Van Gemerden, Connor Bell and Scott Harlin. Representing the Squirts division are Nick Olson, Jarred McConnell and Jimmy Martin. Representing the Pee Wee division are Richard Manzoni and Ty Miller. Representing the Bantam division are Lexie Woodson and Kendra Wenger and representing the Midget division as the team's goalie is Aaron Yurkovic. The President of the Jr. Ice Pilots is Janine Venezia and coaching the Jr. Ice Pilots will be Tab Bell.
Pensacola's own and veteran ECHL Linesman Gregg Wright will be the referee. The Subway Alumni Game will consist of two twenty minute periods with a continuous clock between Team Quenneville and Team Calder. After the two twenty minute periods, the Jr. Ice Pilots will play a five minute game vs. the alumni players. Player introductions will begin around 4:45 p.m. as the Civic Center doors will open to the public at 4:00 p.m.
The Ice Pilots alumni players and current players will be wearing special alumni jerseys during both games. The Ice Pilots are auctioning off the jerseys at www.icepilots.com as the deadline date to get your bid in is this Friday at Noon central time. The winners will receive their alumni jerseys of their favorite player in the V.I.P. Room after the Ice Pilots game vs. Mississippi on Saturday night.
The Ice Pilots will play home to Columbia this Friday night at 7:05 p.m. It is Make A Wish Night sponsored by Emerald Coast Foundation, Bone Fish Grill and KIA Auto Sports. Fans are encouraged to wear white to the game as it is White Out Night. It is also ROTC Night as the ROTC can call the Ice Pilots for group rates at 432-7825.
The Ice Pilots will also play home to Columbia this Sunday at 5:05 p.m. It is Kids Day. Fans can purchase 4 tickets, 4 sodas, 4 hotdogs for $44. It is also Florida Lottery Second Chance Night. The Ice Pilots will participate in the public skate after the game.
All three games this Friday, Saturday and Sunday is Cell Phones for Soldiers with Liberty Tax Service. Help military personnel overseas call home by donating your old cell phones at the Ice Pilots home games this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The cell phones will be traded in to get phone cards for our military services. Liberty Tax Services located on Mobile Highway is also accepting used cell phones. Fans can purchase individual game tickets in person at the Civic Center box office, at any Ticketmaster location, Charge by Phone at 434-7444 or through www.icepilots.com. For group tickets, birthday parties and season tickets, fans can call the Ice Pilots at 432-7825.
Season ticket renewals for the 2005-06 season is underway. Season ticket holders can put down a deposit of $50 by March 31st on their season ticket for the Early Bird Renewal and will be able to pay the rest of the balance by September 1, 2005.
All 14 home Kelly Cup Playoff tickets are available for season ticket holders for the 2005 Kelly Cup Playoffs. Season ticket holders have until March 31st to pay for all 14 home playoff games. If the Ice Pilots do not play all 14 home games during the Kelly Cup Playoffs, season ticket holders can put down the balance for season tickets for next season or have their money refunded.
