LANCASTER, Pa.-Action, adventure and high-speed thrills! You'll find all that and more at the Ice Park at Clipper Magazine Stadium presented by Jackson Hewitt and Avalanche Express this winter! That's right, it's time to lace up the skates, because Clipper Magazine Stadium is opening its gates on December 27, for the fifth winter of Ice Park fun!

The Ice Park has been the place to enjoy outdoor ice skating for the past five years, but this season a new attraction will be featured for those who are seeking even more adventure and fun! The Ice Slide will make its Ice Park debut this season! Fans can enjoy a slippery ride down the thrilling 26 ft. Ice Slide on a comfortable sled. This attraction has been featured across America and will be making its home in Lancaster for the next two months!

"The Ice Park has become an exciting destination for families during the winter months," Barnstormers assistant general manager Kristen Simon said. "With the addition of the Ice Slide and the return of ice skating, there are more reasons to come out and enjoy the ballpark this winter than ever before!"

Regular admission to skate at the Ice Park is just $6 per session. Unlimited sliding is $10 and a special combo pass of unlimited skating and sliding is just $12. Skate rental is available at an additional cost of $3. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased in person at the Clipper Magazine Stadium box office or online at www.LancasterBarnstormers.com.

This year the Ice Park at Clipper Magazine Stadium will be open on New Year's Eve for 3...2...1 Lancaster. The stadium will play host to exciting family activities on December 31, including live music, a children's comedy show, fortune telling, ice skating and more! Skating hours on New Year's Eve are from 12 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. for regular admission and 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. for 3...2...1 Lancaster. The New Year's Eve festivities will conclude with a fireworks spectacular at 9 p.m. Tickets for 3...2...1 Lancaster are just $8 and are available at www.LancasterBarnstormers.com and at all Lancaster County Turkey Hill Minit Market locations.

Regular hours for the Ice Park will be 6-10 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays, noon to 10 p.m. on Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. on Sundays. The regular admission price is good until the park closes for the day.
