Ice Flyers to Hold 20th Anniversary Weekend Golf Tournament on April 3

PENSACOLA, Fla. (March 9, 2016) - The Pensacola Ice Flyers have announced the rescheduled date for their annual golf tournament. The tournament will take place on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Stonebrook Golf Club in Pace, Fla. to coincide with their 20th Anniversary Weekend celebrations.
The cost per golfer is $65, totaling $260 for a team of four. The entry cost covers a round of golf, a raffle entry for door prizes, a drink ticket, voucher to a 2016 home playoff game and a post-round meal. For an additional $20, teams can choose the Ice Flyers player they would like to golf with. Ice Flyers players will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. Registration will begin at 12 p.m. with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Dinner will be provided for all golfers following the round.
For those interested in sponsoring tees, tee signs are available for purchase at a cost of $100 each.
Additionally, golfers can purchase a package consisting of one mulligan, one throw (used to extend any one shot), one tee buster (tee off from the red tees once), and one two-foot string used to improve a player's lie or avoid a stroke. Every golfer who purchases this package will receive a raffle ticket for golf and Ice Flyers prizes.
The free contests will include Long Drive and Long Drive with Hockey Gloves challenges and a Closest to the Pin challenge. The event will also feature a Putting Contest where players can buy three shots for $5. Golfers who sink the putt will receive three raffle tickets for golf prizes. If golfers use a hockey stick instead of a putter, they'll receive double the amount of raffle tickets.
