Ice Flyers Release Full 2016-17 Schedule

PENSACOLA, Fla. - The Pensacola Ice Flyers, 2016 SPHL President's Cup Champions, announced their full 2016-17 schedule on Wednesday. Game times for home games will remain the same with games on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays having 6:35 p.m. puck drops, Friday and Saturday games at 7:05 p.m., and 4:05 p.m. for Sunday games.
The Ice Flyers' most frequent opponent will be the Columbus Cottonmouths. The two teams will face each other nine times while Pensacola's least played opponents will be both Evansville Thunderbolts and Knoxville Ice Bears, four games each. The Ice Flyers will see the Huntsville Havoc and the Macon Mayhem eight times each, the Mississippi RiverKings seven, the Fayetteville FireAntz six times, and the Peoria Rivermen as well as the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs five times.
The season kicks off on Friday, October 21, with the Ice Flyers' third Championship Celebration Night in four years when they welcome the FireAntz into the Hangar and raise the 2016 President's Cup Championship banner.
