Pensacola Ice Flyers News Release

The Ice Flyers would like to congratulate left wing Chris Wilson and defenseman Donnie Harris for being named the Select Physical Therapy Players of the Month.

Assistant captain Chris Wilson was the key to victory in several of the Ice Flyers' games in January and for his work he is the Offensive Player of the Month. The Prince Albert, Saskatchewan native played in 9 games last month and had 13 (7 goals, 6 assists), 9 penalty minutes, and was a -2.

Donnie Harris is a native of Fort Ashby, West Virginia and he was great defensively for the Ice Flyers in January. He finished at only a -2 but that was in no way indicative of how valuable he was on the backend for the Flyers. He had 8 points (3 goals, 5 assists) in January along with 14 penalty minutes.

The Ice Flyers will travel to Louisiana tonight to take on the IceGators at a 7:05 faceoff. On Friday the boys will be in Biloxi taking on the Mississippi Surge. The Flyers will be at home on this weekend hosting the IceGators Saturday at the normal 7:05 puck drop and facing off against the Huntsville Havoc at a special Sunday matinee time of 3:05.
