Pensacola Ice Flyers News Release
Pensacola, FL - The Pensacola Ice Flyers lost another tough one, 4-3 in overtime, Friday night in The Hangar. The Ice Flyers remain tied for third in the league with the Huntsville Havoc.
Though The Hangar was packed with a little over 5,600 fans, the Ice Flyers couldn't pull out the overtime win for their first back to back wins since the middle of January. The Ice Flyers are currently 1-7 in their last 8 games.
Ice Flyers' defenseman Dan Ehrman, along with center Kyle Dorowicz, did, however, have a stand out game against the Riverhawks. Ehrman was able to put two between the pipes during the first and third period and received second star honors. Dorowicz recorded a goal and an assist in the match and received the third star of the evening.
The Ice Flyers will return to The Hangar tomorrow night, Saturday, February 19, for the 2nd Annual Weiner Dog Races. This year, benefits of the night will be for the Hotel for Dogs and Cats Adoption Center. Fans brining an item from their wish list will be entered to win a replica jersey of their choice. There will also be a jersey auction held directly following the game. For additional information on this and upcoming events and promotions, call (850) 466-3111 or visit www.pensacolaiceflyers.com.
