Ice Dogs Spoil Bears Return Home

The Brown Bears brought energy and toughness to a rematch against Fairbanks. After being on the road for six weeks the Bears looked energized to play in front of there home town fans. The first period saw goals from: Jack Gessert (Bouvet, Jackstadt) and Zack Zulkanycz (Gessert), but it also saw another four from Fairbanks. The Bears however, did not quit. they managed to score the only second period goal: Jackstadt (Bouvet, Andrews). The third period the Brown Bears peppered the Ice Dogs with 6 scoring chances but couldn't find the back of the net, and ended up dropping 6-3. Evan Hauser had 21 saves in the loss.
