
Bears Drop Hard Fought Game in Fairbanks

Kenai River Brown Bears News Release
The Brown Bears came out shooting in the second game in Fairbanks, but could not find the back of the net. After one period the Bears out shot Fairbanks 11-10, but found themselves down 2-0. The second period the Bears kept the intensity up shooting in bunches and scoring the periods only goal from: Jack Gessert (Nickels). The third period saw a few bad bounces find the back of the net and the Bears another loss. Evan Hauser had 28 saves in the loss.
