Long Beach Ice Dogs News Release

LONG BEACH, Calif. - The Long Beach Ice Dogs of the ECHL, a proud affiliate of the Boston Bruins, have announced they have acquired goaltender Brett Jaeger from the Augusta Lynx for cash considerations. Per club policy, terms of the deals were not disclosed.

Jaeger, 23, has a career record of 41-23-14 in 2+ seasons in the ECHL with the Fresno Falcons and the Augusta Lynx. Before turning pro, the 5-10, 190 pound goaltender from Manning, ALTA played with Medicine Hat, Vancouver, and Saskatoon in the WHL. Jaeger had a career high in wins (21) with the Fresno Falcons last season in 37 games while being voted to the ECHL All Star Game.

"At this point of the season we need more experience in net for the Ice Dogs," Said Head Coach and General Manager Rick Adduono. "Jaeger brings experience and success over the last two years with the Falcons. Bottom line, Jaeger is going to help our team."

The Ice Dogs, fresh off a seven game road trip, return home to play the Victoria Salmon Kings on Friday, December 15th at 7:30pm on "Fishing Night." Fans in attendance will receive an Ice Dogs Fishing Tackle and will enjoy the $2 beer garden and $2 hot dogs. AUDIO portion of all games will be available on www.icedogs.com by click on the TEAMLINE logo and VIDEO will be available at all home games for $6. Season tickets and group sales for the 2006-07 season are still on sale now. Call (562) ICE-DOGS or visit www.icedogs.com for more information.
