Knoxville Ice Bears News Release
Your Knoxville Ice Bears are in command of the SPHL with 52 points. With the top two scorers in the league, Kevin Swider and K.J. Voorhees Respectively. And the recent addition of veteran Craig Desjarlais who will be playing his first game of the season Thursday Night the 10th against the Fayetteville FireAntz. Along with the return of Goalie Terry Dunbar from the ECHL Florida Everblades. The Ice Bears are preparing for the playoffs.
With a league leading 3094 average attendance, The Ice Bears are looking to Pack the House for each and every upcoming game. And with a little help from our friends we can do it. Help the Ice Bears recruit Groups and friends, Great group rates provide a Extremely fun and exciting evening at an affordable price. With group tickets starting at just $6. Normally $10 silver tickets are reduced to just $6 and $15 Gold are only $10 for groups of 10 or more.

Valentine Teddy Bear Toss 2/10/05
One lucky Lady will win a pair of ½ carat Diamond Ear Rings valued at $500, Gentlemen we did not forget you, one lucky Guy will win a Skagen Denmark Watch both prizes provided by Enix Jewelers in Black Oak Plaza in Halls. How do you win? First bring a new Teddy Bear to the Thursday February 10th Game at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum, Puck Drops at 7:30. When you arrive at the Coliseum check your bear in, it will be marked for the female or male prize. When the Ice Bears score their first goal, throw your Bear onto the Ice. Two Ice Bear players will pick one winning bear each, one female and one male.
DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT 2/18/05
Your Ice Bears have teamed up with the "Game Show Network" to have the first known DODGEBALL game on Ice. A tournament will be played in the exhibit hall before the Ice Bears hockey game. The Championship game will be played at center ice.
To enter a team; Teams will consist of 4 person teams. Cost to enter will be $10 per person and that will include a silver ticket to the game and a Game Show Network Dodgeball T-shirt. Grand prize will be a Sony Playstation 2 along with other goodies from the Ice Bears. If you already have tickets to the game and would like to join a team or place a team in the tournament there will no additional cost for you. The tournament will start at 5:30 on Friday the 18th.
