Knoxville, TN - The Knoxville Ice Bears fall to the Peoria Rivermen 4-2 to extend their woes by extending the deficit to 1-6-1.
Peoria jumped out to take the lead at 12:18 of the first period when Jordan Sims banged home a rebound off a Alec Hagaman break away.
Ice Bears tied it up early in the second when Eric Satim scored off a Peter Neal pass through the crease at 2:15. Peoria jumped out to a commanding lead of two goals in the final 13:47 of the period to lead 3-1 after 40 minutes of play.
Ice Bears Peter Neal carved into Peoria's lead when he scored off a scrum at 7:25 of the final frame to draw to a 3-2 deficit. The momentum was short lived when Josh Harris regained the two goal lead just 90 seconds later.
