Duluth, MN.- After constructing an early 6-0 lead after three innings, the Bullfrogs (30-19/8-6) could not hang on to beat the Duluth Huskies (28-22/8-6) who stormed back to win 10-9 including a two-run walk-off ninth.

The one-two punch of Logan Taylor (Louisville)- Robber Paller (Columbia) ran its course in the first inning. After Taylor walked, Paller raked his ninth double of the season driving in the game's first run.

Green Bay kept pouring on the runs in the second inning as Ty Blankmeyer (St. John's) punched through a two-RBI base hit to make it 3-0 Bullfrogs.

With Duluth starter, Toby Anderson (Minneosta), still on the mound, Ryan Donovan jacked his first home run since June 22nd to right field, a no-doubt shot that had right-fielder Jean Figueroa (West Florida) only take a few paces only to watch the ball sail into the woods. It gave Green Bay a 6-0 advantage after three frames.

The fourth was when trouble struck. Parker Hamilton (Florida Gulf Coast) was removed after allowing four hits and a walk in the frame, as Duluth scored five runs including RBI hits from Holden Cammack (Oral Roberts), Danny Lee (State College of Manatee), and Alex Greene (West Florida).

Trailing now by only one run, the Huskies took a 7-6 lead in the fifth after Blankmeyer dropped a pop fly in shallow right field with two outs off the bat of Nick Valaika (UCLA).

The teams exchanged runs in the sixth, setting up a huge rally for Green Bay in the eighth. The lead changed for the fourth time as the Bullfrogs got a sacrifice fly from Danny Rosenbaum (Lousiville) and a huge RBI base hit from Ryan Donovan (Hofstra) up the middle. Donovan now owns the Northwoods League lead with 41 RBI.

Up now 9-8, the ball was given to Jeremy Graf (Flagler) in the final frame. One of the three Bullfrogs' all-stars Graf came in with a save in his previous five outings. But he could not close the door this time. With the bases loaded after a hit-by-pitch and walk, Graf walked in a run with Jean Figueroa (West Florida) at the plate, his fourth walk of the contest.

And the walk-off run came when Jimmy Paulsen's (Missouri State) chopper was fielded by Ryan Donovan (Hofstra) and his throw home was late sending in a sliding Elijah Dilday (Nebraska) to score the winning run.

Robb Paller (Columbia), Danny Rosenbaum (Louisville), and Ryan Donovan (Hofstra) each had two hits. Together, they drove in a total of 7RBI.

Duluth again was led by Jean Figueroa (West Florida) who was 2-for-2 with 4BB, 3R, and an RBI. Paulsen (Missouri State), Cammack (Oral Roberts), and Jimmy Heck (Minnesota-Duluth) also had multi-hit nights.

The win went to Moises Ceja (UCLA) (2-1), and the loss went to Jeremy Graf (Flager) (0-1).

Your Bullfrogs play tomorrow night first at 6:05PM against the St. Cloud Rox (30-18/11-3) to make up the suspended game on May 29th. Coming back to play, the game will be tied 2-2 leading to the bottom of the 13th Inning with the Bullfrogs at bat.

A nine-inning game will then take place 30 minutes after the completion of the first, with a first pitch no earlier than 7:05PM.

Single game tickets are on sale now. Visit www.greenbaybullfrogs.com to purchase tickets. The Bullfrogs' business hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
