
Hurricanes Lose Long Time Scout

Lethbridge Hurricanes News Release
Lethbridge, Alberta â Lethbridge Hurricanes are sorry to announce that long time scout Dennis Dupont lost his courageous battle to cancer on Saturday evening.
Dupont was a part of the Lethbridge's scouting staff for 11 years & was a newly appointed District Chief with the Calgary Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife Wanda, his three sons (Jay, Robin, Micki), daughter (Danielle) & 1 granddaughter (Riley). Dupont's son Micki, was named the Western Hockey League & Canadian Hockey League's Defenseman of the Year with the Kamloops Blazers in 1999-00.
The Hurricanes organization sends out its deepest condolences to the Dupont family & will recognize Dennis' contributions to the organization with a moment of silence at the next home game scheduled for Tuesday January 27th.
