
Huntsville falls to Knoxville

HUNTSVILLE, AL - Matt Moore scored with 6:04 left in the game on deflection off goalie Matt Carmichael to give the Knoxville Ice Bears a 2-1 win over the Huntsville Havoc Saturday night in front of 4,019 fans.
Kevin Swider put Knoxville on the board just :28 into the third period. Doug Merrell tied the game with 13:51 left.
K.J. Vorhees had two assists for Knoxville while Swider added one. Shawn Breaker and Mike Degurse had assists for Huntsville.
Both played played extremely well as James Ronayne stopped 35-of-36 shots to get the win. Carmichael stopped 38-of-40 in the loss.
