
Huntsville falls to Columbus at home

HUNTSVILLE, AL - The Columbus Cottonmouths scored five goals in the third period on their way to a 5-2 win over the Huntsville Havoc Friday night.
Both teams were scoreless after two periods before Craig Stahl, Tim Green, Ryan Haggarty, Ryan Rutz and Daryl Moor all scored in the third period.
Mike Degurse and James Patterson both scored goals for the Havoc in the third period as well.
Nick Niedert took the loss in place of the suspended Matt Carmichael. He made 28 saves. Chad Rycroft got the win stopping 33 shots.
