WILLMAR, MN - The Willmar Stingers are excited to announce one of the most unique promotions coming to Willmar over the past 4 seasons of Stingers baseball. Look out below; Human Cannonball David "The Bullet" Smith presented by KDJS, K95.3, and The River has been added to the promotional schedule & will be appearing Sunday August 4th at the Bee Hive!
"The Bullet" will project himself out of a cannon in the outfield towards home plate--a distance of nearly 200 feet. This spectacle will take place after the Stingers play host to the Alexandria Blue Anchors at 12:05 pm.
David "The Bullet" Smith, 34 has been a human cannonball for over 11 years. He has performed more than 5,000 cannon shots around the world. He is a second-generation human cannonball and is carrying on a great family tradition.
He is the highest and farthest-flying Human Cannonball in the world today with three world records. David has blasted himself over incredible obstacles, like Ferris Wheels, concert stages and even a part of the Grand Canyon.
"This is something we have looked at bringing in the last few seasons and we are really excited to have the Human Cannonball coming to Bill Taunton Stadium this year," said co-Owner Ryan Voz.
