Houston Takers News Release
The Houston Takers came into todays game with a chip on their shoulder by winning 131-100. After coming back from New York 0-2 they had something to prove to themselves and the league spectators. "Unfortunately the Georgia Gwizzlies walk into a elephant trap tonite. We had something to prove tonite but tomorrow is the real test," explained Larry the owner of the Takers.
Tach Minor led the team with 27 points and 12 assist and Marcus Session also had a good night with 22 pionts and 11 rebounds. Tomorrow the Houston Takers will be taking on one of the leagues best teams in the Texas Tycoons at 7:15p.m. in Desoto, Tx. But for now they will enjoy this victory.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
