Hounds Make Impact In Annual Best Of The Best Poll

The Youngstown SteelHounds had an impressive showing in this year's Central Hockey League "Best of the Best" poll. The 45 categories range in best player to best arena music. All 17 teams coaches, broadcasters, staff and players took part in the voting process picking their top three for each topic. The Hounds ranked in the top three in nine different topics and took first place honors in two of them. Hounds captain Chris Richards took home first place honors in the Best Face-Off category while forward Bryan Lachapelle won the award for Most Annoying Player.
The Hounds took home second place honors in the following categories:
Milan Maslonka - Best Heavyweight Fighter
The Lady SteelHounds - Best Cheerleaders
The Hounds took third place honors in the following categories:
Kevin Kaminski - Best Coach
Hardest Working Team
Best Uniforms
Chevrolet Centre - Best Arena Music
Ryan Pritt - Best Public Address Announcer
