
Hot Rods to Host Doubleheader May 22

Bowling Green, KY - The Bowling Green Hot Rods, Class A Affiliates of the Tampa Bay Rays, in conjunction with the Midwest League announce that Bowling Green Ballpark will host a doubleheader on Wednesday, May 22 starting at 5:30 PM. Two seven-inning games against the Great Lakes Loons (Dodgers) will take place to make up a rained-out contest on April 17 at Dow Diamond in Midland, MI.
The Hot Rods will be the home team for all four games in the Great Lakes series. The remaining games in the series - Thursday, May 23 and Friday, May 24 - will still take place as scheduled at 7:05 PM.
The Hot Rods three-game series with the Peoria Chiefs (Cardinals) continues Monday night at 7:05 PM at Bowling Green Ballpark. The Hot Rods will send RHP Taylor Guerrieri (1-0, 1.50) to the mound, while the Chiefs will counter with LHP Kyle Helisek (1-1, 5.94).
