Bowling Green Hot Rods News Release
(Bowling Green, KY) - The Bowling Green Hot Rods, Class A affiliate of the American League Champion Tampa Bay Rays, announced they will begin selling single-game tickets for all Hot Rods home games later this month. Tickets may be purchased online only between March 17 at 10:00 AM and March 21 until 10:00 AM at www.bghotrods.com. At 10:00 AM on March 21, tickets may be purchased online and in-person at the Hot Rods' Administrative Office at 814 State Street.
"We have had a great response to the ticket packages we have released so far," said Hot Rods CEO and General Manager, Brad Taylor. "We expect to see the same urgency and excitement when we begin our single-game sales. Opening Night, April 17, is proving to be the hottest ticket in town!"
The internet sales event will begin at 10:00 AM on the morning of March 17, strictly on the team's website, www.bghotrods.com. Fans will be able to buy tickets and select their seats for every 2009 game, including the team's highly anticipated Opening Night.
"We know our inaugural Opening Night is a milestone occasion for Bowling Green and South Central Kentucky," added Taylor. "This game will be in high demand and we suggest fans purchase their tickets on March 17."
After four days of online only sales, the Hot Rods will welcome in-person purchases at a Spring Training Party on the first weekend of spring. Beginning at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 21, at the team's administrative offices, fans can buy tickets, try the Malchow, Lawless, & Wiesemann Orthodontics Speed Pitch, and meet the Hot Rods' new mascot for the first time. This event is open to the public.
All box seats in Bowling Green Ballpark are $10. The Hot Rods will also offer a limited number of general admission tickets in the grass berm area for just $5 each. The team will continue to offer Season Tickets, Half-Season Tickets, and Super Value Packs, each of which come with a variety of scheduling options and benefits.
Opening Night, presented by Citizens First, is Friday, April 17, against the Kannapolis Intimidators.
Fans can purchase group outings, season tickets, and multi-game ticket packages by calling the Hot Rods' Administrative Office at (270) 901-2121 or by visiting www.bghotrods.com.
