
WVU Baseball Comes to Appalachian Power Park

Charleston, WV (March 2, 2009) - The West Virginia Power announced today that the West Virginia University baseball team will take on the University of Kentucky at Appalachian Power Park on Tuesday, March 24. The game will be the first annual Mountaineer Power Classic. Game time is scheduled for 7:05 pm.
"We will treat this game as we do any of our Power games," stated Executive Vice President Andy Milovich. "That includes full use of our video board, sound system and even a few in-game promotions."
The Power are currently looking for companies to partner with on the Mountaineer Power Classic. There are a variety of partnership levels with features such as video board commercials, program ads, game tickets and more. "It's exciting to host the first Mountaineer Baseball game at Appalachian Power Park and give the Power and WVU fans a chance to come out to the ballpark. We've created some very affordable sponsorship opportunities that allow the businesses throughout the Charleston area to enjoy great results at an affordable rate while supporting the Mountaineers" said Milovich. "Partnerships start at $500 and include tickets for your employees and clients. It's a great opportunity to jump start the summer fun."
WVU-Kentucky Tickets are $6.00 for General Admission Tickets and $8.00 for Box Seat Tickets. Phone orders for tickets are available at this time by calling (304) 344-2287. Phone orders may be picked up at the Will Call Window at Appalachian Power Park beginning with the 1st day of Single Game Power Tickets at 10:00 AM on March 21st. Tickets for the WVU-Kentucky game may be purchased in person on the 21st of March as well.
