The first 1,000 fans 21-and-older to arrive at the BMO Harris Bank Center will receive beer steins courtesy of Bud Light.
Doors will open at 5:15 p.m. for a Blues Flame Lounge Friday. Fans 21-and-older are invited to enjoy live blues music courtesy of Macyn Taylor, a happy hour special, and free appetizers at the Blue Flame Lounge on the main concourse. 150 beer steins will be available at the Blue Flame Lounge entrance before general admissions doors open.
Rockford has taken eight consecutive victories versus Iowa dating back to a 4-0 victory on Jan. 16, 2015, including five-in-a-row this season. With a win tonight, the IceHogs would match their longest winning streak against an AHL opponent (Milwaukee Admirals, Jan. 22, 2011-Apr. 13, 2012).
Jake Dowell enters tonight's game having put up a strong performance in the last four victories in the state of Texas. The veteran centerman picked up three goals and five assists versus Texas and San Antonio, and leads the team with a +10 rating.
The Wild enter the game with only 48 goals through 26 games. The IceHogs have scored 50 goals since a 2-0 victory over Iowa on Nov. 1, and 20 in their last four contests. Iowa has lost 15 of its last 16 games dating back to the loss to Rockford on Nov. 1, while the IceHogs have picked up points in 18-of-20 dating back to a 3-2 victory on Oct. 21 over Iowa.
Next Home Game: Dec. 12 vs. Grand Rapids Griffins at 7 p.m. The IceHogs will take on the Grand Rapids Griffins in a Central Division matchup. Fans are encouraged to bring new teddy bears and stuffed animals to throw on the ice after the first IceHogs goal. The teddy bears will be collected and donated to local hospitals and charities.
