Florida Panthers Recall D Dylan Olsen from Portland Pirates (AHL) on Emergency Basis

SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers Executive Vice President and General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that defenseman Dylan Olsen has been recalled from the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Portland Pirates, on an emergency basis.

The 24-year-old Olsen has played in three games with Florida this season, registering a +1 rating and six shots.

The 6-foot-2, 223-pound, native of Calgary, Alberta has played in 10 games with Portland this season, recording two points (1-1-2) and 4 PIM.

Olsen was originally drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the first round (28th overall) of the 2009 NHL Draft.

Panthers also announced that Nick Bjugstad was placed on injured reserve.
