
Horton 1st Star of the Week, Dill Honored

Today, the North American Hockey League announced the NAHL Divisional Stars of the Week.
Wings defenseman #4 Jake Horton (D-Plymouth, MN) was named 1st Star of the Week after sniping three goals in three games last week. Horton totalled 4 points with the three goals and an assist. He has led the NAHL in goals scored by a defenseman since October 5th. Horton will be featured next Monday and Tuesday at the NAHL Top Prospects Tournament in Troy, Michigan.
Also receiving an honorable mention was Wings rookie goaltender #30 Henry Dill (G-Columbus, OH) who was placed in the game Thursday night after the Wings were down 3-0 in the first period. Over the next 8 periods of play, including Friday and Saturday's game, Dill stopped 59 of 62 shots picking up three wins. Dill had a 1.12 goals against average over the weekend and had a 95% save percentage.
