Rochester Honkers News Release
The Northwoods League's top pitching staff held the Rochester bats down for a second straight night, leading the Rox to a 6-2 win. The Honkers mustered just four hits in the defeat.
The Rox jumped out to a four-run lead after five innings thanks to runs in three straight frames. They scored twice in third, helped by a couple of Rochester errors and a pair of singles. St. Cloud extended the lead with run-scoring doubles in back-to-back innings by Andrew Pinckney (Alabama) and Jordan Barth. (Augustana)

The Honkers pulled within two in the seventh inning, Otto Grimm (Minnesota) delivered a two-out RBI single to score Zach Cole. (Ball St)
Rochester could not draw any closer with the Rox adding a pair of runs in the ninth.

With the loss, Rochester falls to 26-29 and 11-12 in the first half. They open a two-game set with the Duluth Huskies tomorrow night at 6:35 from Mayo Field.
