
Homestand Concludes with Kid-A-Palooza, Tweetup

FRESNO, CA - The first-place Fresno Grizzlies round out their current eight-game homestand with a pair of big nights, Kid-A-Palooza on Wednesday and the Great Fresno Tweetup on Thursday at Chukchansi Park.
Wednesday, July 21st marks the third annual installment of Kid-A-Palooza, the most fun your kids will have all summer. The event will be marked by a celebrity appearance by Brobee=81 from the popular Nick Jr. children's show Yo Gabba Gabba!=81. The game will also feature free Helados Mexico ice cream, as well as 25-cent hot dogs, presented by Evergood Fine Foods, for everyone in attendance. Finally, kids will have the chance to run the bases following the game, a privilege usually reserved only for Sunday games.
Wednesday also brings with it the best deal in the Valley, another What a Deal! Wednesday, presented by KMPH Fox 26. Fans get two Super View tickets, two "Fantasy Day" Unlimited Ride passes at Rotary Storyland & Playland, two rounds of Mini Glow Golf at Maxx Putt Fun Zone and two children's buffets at John's Incredible Pizza Co., all for only $20!
The fun wraps up on Thursday, July 22nd with the return of The Great Fresno Tweetup, presented by FresnoBeehive.com and FresnoGrizzlies.com. Following up on the success of last year's inaugural event, the Grizzlies again invite all their social media followers to meet new friends and interact with some of the Valley's online social trendsetters. The night will feature in-game offers, contests and social media interactivity through the team's Twitter platform. As it is with every Thursday home game, the 22nd will also be another Thirsty Thursday, presented by Tecate. Enjoy $1 12-ounce Tecate and Tecate Light beers through the fifth inning, and $1 12-ounce sodas all night long.
Finally on Thursday, Chukchansi Park is proud to showcase the Legends of Baseball memorabilia raffle. Fans will have an opportunity to purchase a raffle ticket to win classic autographed memorabilia including the Grand Prize, a set of 10 signed baseballs by the top-10 all-time home run hitters in Major League history. The memorabilia will be on display on the concourse at Chukchansi Park and tickets can be purchased through the end of the fifth inning.
The Grizzlies wrap up their current eight-game homestand with games the next three nights against the Salt Lake Bees.
