Game Keys - Mark Saccomanno and Brett Carroll hit back to back home runs for the Zephyrs but the Round Rock Express held on to defeat the Zephyrs 11-9 in front of 6,937 at The Dell Diamond.
The Express jumped on starter Wes Whisler scoring four first inning runs.
New Orleans
made a come back with back to back home runs in the fourth inning to tie the game.
Express first baseman Tommy Everidge drilled a two run home run in the bottom of the fourth inning and the Express grabbed the lead.
TJ Burton picked up the win for Round Rock and Whisler took the loss for the Zephyrs.
Game Notes-
New Orleans
has left 21 men on base in the first two games of the series, Round Rock has left 23 men on.
The series is even at one, but the Z's have defeated the Express in 10 of the 14 matchups.
Coming Up: The Zephyrs and Express will meet in the third game of the four game set on Wednesday night at 7.
New Orleans
will start RH Chris Volstad (1-0, 1.38) against RH Sergio Perez (3-3, 5.29).
