Spokane Chiefs News Release
The Spokane Chiefs will kick off the home portion of their schedule this Saturday night when the Tri-City Americans visit the Spokane Arena. The game will mark the 15th time in the last 17 years that Spokane and Tri-City have hooked up to open the home season. Spokane is 8-3 in the Spokane Arena in home openers and 13-8 overall after earning a 4-1 win last year. Chris Bruton and Adam Hobson each had goals for Spokane in the win. After dropping their first four home openers in franchise history, the Chiefs are 13-4. Spokane is 10-4 versus the Americans in home openers.
As fans arrive to the Arena they will be greeted by a festival-like atmosphere including music, face painters, an inflatable and more. Inside the gates, the game will start with a special pre-game ceremony recognizing this year's version of the Chiefs. In addition, the first 5,000 fans through the gates will receive a free Chiefs magnet schedule courtesy of The Black Book by Hagadone Directories!
Tickets for all home games are available by calling the Chiefs office at (509) 535-PUCK or TicketsWest at (800) 325-SEAT.
