
Holiday Fireworks Follow RoughRiders Game Thursday

Cedar Rapids, Iowa- The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders will ring in the new year just a little bit early with a special holiday fireworks display outside the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena following the RoughRiders' game against the Green Bay Gamblers Thursday night.
The explosive action on the ice begins at 7:05PM as the RoughRiders and Gamblers collide in the final game at the ice arena in 2005. The second of three post game fireworks displays this season will begin immediately after the end of the game.
Fireworks will also light up the sky following the Riders' March 18 game against the Lincon Stars.
This Thursday's game is the first of three in four days for the RoughRiders. The Riders will play their final game of the calendar year Friday evening in Lincoln against the Stars and will then begin 2005 by visiting the Omaha Lancers Sunday.
The RoughRiders (18-7-1, 37 points) are in second place in the United States Hockey League's East Division, one point behind the Des Moines Buccaneers.
Tickets for all RoughRiders home games- including Thursday's- can be purchased in person at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena ticket office, over the phone at (319) 261-4625 or on line at www.roughridershockey.com. The ticket office is open from noon to 5:00PM on weekdays and from noon through the end of the second period on game days, including tomorrow. Ticket prices range from $7 to $17 including a 50-cent facility fee.
