Wisconsin Rapids, WI - The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters opened the second half suffering their worst defeat at home this season, dropping 10-2 at Witter Field to the Green Bay Bullfrogs Thursday evening. Bo Henning struggled in his debut, and Bradley Wallace, the league leader in ERA, no-hit the Rafters through four.

Henning (SO, Sacramento City College) allowed four runs, three earned, in his only inning of work on the mound. The waiver-claim from La Crosse in his Rafters' debut through 39 pitches and was forced out by Northwoods League rule. Any pitcher who throws 35 or more pitches in an inning cannot return for the following frame.

Down 4-0 after one, Rafters reliever Tommy Danczyk (SO, St. Thomas Univ.) allowed three more Green Bay runs in the second. After two innings, Rafters pitching had faced 18 batters, and seven different Bullfrogs had a hit.

On the other side of the card, Bradley Wallace tore through the Rafters order. He walked the first batter he faced, Jordan Dreiling (JR, Univ. of Kansas), but retired the next eleven and faced the minimum through 4.1 innings.

The first hit, one of only two off of Wallace, was a center-field homer from Brandon Hohl (JR, Univ. of Illinois). The Rafters wouldn't score again until the eighth though, and when Nick Ammirati (JR, Mississippi State Univ.) knocked in Aaron Jones (JR, Winston Salem State) to make it 9-2.

Brooks Orton crushed Rafters pitching. The left-fielder went five-for-six with his first two home runs and scored four times. Rafters' bright-spots came from Nestor Bautista (SO, Ball State Univ.) who was strong in relief (3.1 IP, 1 R, 2 H, 3 K) and Jones, who collected half of the Rafters' four hits.

The Rafters start the first half with a loss and are now winless in six tries against the Bullfrogs. Wisconsin Rapids (16-19) takes on Green Bay (23-13) in Green Bay the next two nights. Both games are scheduled for 7:05 at Joannes Stadium.
