
Hoffa joins Griffins ticket sales

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League announced on Tuesday the hiring of John Hoffa as a ticket sales account executive.
Hoffa received his bachelor of business administration degree in marketing and management from Grand Valley State University in April, earning a 3.1 grade-point average. After earning the Doug Kelley Scholarship for leadership and high educational achievement, he achieved dean's list honors for two consecutive years at GVSU.
Hoffa recently completed an internship for DP Fox Sports with the Grand Rapids Rampage arena football team, and previously served in a full-time management capacity with Outback Steakhouse, Inc. in Grandville, Mich.
The Detroit-area native will focus primarily on group ticket packages in his role with the Griffins.
Hoffa is the great-nephew of legendary former Teamsters president, Jimmy Hoffa.
