PRINCE ALBERT, SK - Rookie forward Elliott Peterson broke a 3-3 third period tie with 7:25 remaining lifting the Calgary Hitmen to a 4-3 win over the Prince Albert Raiders Wednesday night at Art Hauser Centre.

Peterson scored a pair of goals to finish the game with a career high three points (2g 1a) in a first star performance.

Chase Clayton and Cody Sylvester both had a goal and an assist for the Hitmen who after opening the scoring in the first period erased a 3-1 second period deficit.

The win clinches home ice advantage for Calgary in the opening round of the Western Hockey League playoffs with a start date to be announced later this month.

Colby Harmsworth chipped in a pair of assists while Chris Driedger made 38 saves in a game where Prince Albert outshot Calgary 41-32.

Calgary, third in the Eastern Conference with 89 points, has now won two in a row to improve to 42-20-1-4.

Four of their remaining five regular season games are at Scotiabank Saddledome starting this weekend.
