Calgary Hitmen News Release
Calgary, AB - The crowd was painted pink for the TELUS BE BRAVE #EndBullying game at the Scotiabank Saddledome Wednesday night, where the Calgary Hitmen wrapped up their four game homestand against the Prince Albert Raiders.
One goal was all it took to give Prince Albert the win in tonight's matchup. Evan Herman opened up the scoring with the lone goal, finding the back of the net at the 12:25 mark in the first period.
Both teams executed successful penalty kills leaving the scoreboard untouched through to the third period. The Hitmen gave a good push at the end to try and tie the game but were shut out by Prince Albert netminder Tikhon Chaika.
Brayden Peters returned to the lineup after missing six games, facing 26 shots and earning second star of the game.
Calgary heads to Lethbridge on Friday, Feb. 25 for a tilt with the Hurricanes before returning to Scotiabank Saddledome on Sunday, Feb. 27 to host Connor Bedard and the Regina Pats. The 4:00 p.m. start will be another Sunday Funday in the 'Dome featuring "Farley's Family Feast" with special $2 prices for cotton candy, water, pop, hot dogs and popcorn. There are also select $5 menu items all game long including pizza and hamburgers.
