Hitmen Rookie Andrew Ladd Ranked Second Overall by NHL Central Scouting

The Calgary Hitmen are pleased to announce that Rookie Andrew Ladd has been ranked 2nd overall for North American Skaters in the mid-term rankings released by the NHL's Central Scouting.
Ladd, from Maple-Ridge BC, leads the Hitmen in scoring, with 41 points (16 goals, 25 assists) and is 2nd in Rookie scoring in the WHL.
Also ranked in the 1st Round amongst North American Skaters were Defencemen Jeff Schultz - 11th overall, and Brett Carson - 28th overall. Andy Rogers is also ranked in the 2nd round, at 34th overall.
"The team is very pleased that our players were listed this high. It is a testament to the hard work all of these guys have put in this season." said Calgary GM Kelly Kisio.
The rankings come following the announcement that the same four Hitmen players will all participate in the CHL Top Prospects Game in London Ontario on January 21st.
