HITMEN HEADLINES: The Hitmen open a four game in five night U-S road trip tonight in Everett. Calgary is coming off Sunday's 6-1 home ice triumph over Moose Jaw. Freddie Pettersson led the attack with two goals and an assist. Brodie Dupont, Ryan White, Alex Plante and Ian Duval also scored for the Hitmen who trailed 1-0 after one. Karl Alzner and Keegan Dansereau each chipped in a pair of assists. Martin Jones made several big saves in net to record the win. Calgary outshot the Warriors 32-16, including 13-2 in the third. Calgary is now 15-9-0-1. The Hitmen are tied with Red Deer for third in the Central Division with 31 points. They sit three back of Kootenay for second place.
VS EVERETT: Tonight is first and only meeting of the season. Last year Calgary beat the Silvertips 1-0 in overtime at the Pengrowth Saddledome on November 11th. Freddie Pettersson scored the winner, 35 seconds into the extra session. Justin Pogge made 25 saves for the shutout.
POINT STREAKS: Karl Alzner is on a five game point streak (1G7A). Ian Duval is on a four game goal scoring streak (5G). Robin Figren has collected assists in three straight games (3A). Michael Stone and Dylan Yeo have assists in two straight games. Stone (2A), Yeo (2A). Ryan White has points in 16 of his last 19 games (10G16A). Brodie Dupont has points in 17 of his last 19 games (12G15A).
GETTING PUCKS TO THE NET: The Hitmen have outshot their opponents in five straight games, recording at least 29 shots in each contest.
NHL DRAFT RANKINGS: Central Scouting has released its preliminary rankings for the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. Three Hitmen are among the top WHL prospects. Karl Alzner is 14th, Brett Sonne 20th and Alex Plante 22nd among skaters.
TEAM WHL: Three Hitmen have been named to Team WHL for the Canada / Russia Challenge. Karl Alzner will play in Chilliwack on November 29th while Ryan White and Brodie Dupont will suit up on November 30th in Kamloops.
DRAFTED PLAYERS: The Hitmen have 4 NHL picks ...Ryan White-(3rd round Montreal 2006), Robin Figren - (3rd round NYI 2006), Brodie Dupont-(3rd round NY Rangers 2005), Freddie Pettersson-(5th round Edmonton 2005). Riley Merkley had a free agent tryout with Edmonton this fall, while Keegan Dansereau was an invite to Dallas Stars camp.
THE ROSTER: Calgary is carrying 23 players; (14 forwards, 7 defencemen and 2 goalies)
Break down....3 (20 year-olds), 4 (19 year-olds), 8 (18 year-olds), 4 (17 year-olds), and 4 (16 year-olds).
SPECIAL TEAMS: Calgary is 39-185 on the powerplay. That's tied for fifth in the WHL at 21.1%. The penalty kill has surrendered 28 goals on 204 chances. It's third at 86.3%.

CAREER WATCH: On Saturday against Moose Jaw, Steve Covington played in his 282nd game as a Hitmen, moving past Rod Sarich and into 8th place on the franchises all-time regular season games played list. Brad Moran heads the list with 357 games played.

UPCOMING GAMES: The Hitmen continue their U-S road trip tomorrow night in Kennewick, Washington against Tri-City. Calgary then plays in Seattle on Saturday before closing out the swing Sunday in Portland.
