(Boise, ID) - The ECHL announced Tuesday that Idaho's Bryan Hince has been selected as the Reebok Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Week for March 26-31.

Hince, 25, was 2-0 with a 2.00 goals-against average and a .931 save percentage as Idaho upended Stockton on Friday and Saturday night to conclude the regular season with Hince between the pipes. He made 54 saves between the two games.

It marks the second time a Steelhead goaltender has been awarded Goaltender of the Week honors. Jerry Kuhn won the award for his play just before Christmas in a week where he backboned three consecutive overtime/shootout victories over the defending Kelly Cup champion Alaska Aces.

Hince is 8-1 in the ECHL this season with Greenville and Idaho, combining for a 2.79 goals-against average in 12 ECHL appearances. Prior to that, he was 16-1 in 18 appearances with the Knoxville Ice Bears of the Southern Professional Hockey League, making him 24-2 overall this season in 30 games played between the two leagues.

Idaho opens up the 2012 Key Bank ECHL Kelly Cup playoffs Tuesday night at CenturyLink Arena in Boise against the Ontario Reign. Game 2 is also in Boise on Wednesday night with both games beginning at 7 PM (Mtn) before transitioning to southern California for the remaining games in the best-of-five series at Ontario's Citizens Business Bank Arena.
