Las Vegas - The ECHL announced today that Wranglers left wing Adam Miller has been named the Sher-Wood Hockey ECHL Player of the Week for March 26-31.
Miller, 27, tallied three goals and four assists in the Wranglers' three final games of the 2011-12 regular season, helping the team go 2-0-1 in their last week. The left wing scored a goal and collected two assists in the team's 4-2 win against the Alaska Aces on Tuesday, March 27, and his power play goal on Friday, March 30, tied the game against the Colorado Eagles as the Wranglers went on to win 6-4. In Saturday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Eagles, Miller had another three-point (one goal, two assists) game.
A native of Livonia, Mich., Miller finished the regular season with 84 points (32 goals, 52 assists), making him the second leading scorer in the ECHL. He recently set a new Wranglers club record for most career points by ending the season with 222 points (81 goals, 141 assists), and was also named to the All-ECHL Second Team this season for the second time in his career.
