Cape Breton Highlanders News Release
The Cape Breton Highlanders professional basketball team announced the signing of forward Landon Atterberry.
Atterberry has played professionally in Mexico, averaging 16 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists per game. He also played in the US TBL averaging 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 assist per game.
He played NCAA Division I basketball at Long Island University.
Atterberry is 25 years old, 6'6", 210lb and hails from Detroit, MI. He is expected to join the Highlanders this week.
To make room on the 12-man roster, O'Louis McCullough was released. McCullough played the power-forward position and averaged 6 points and 2 rebounds in 17 minutes per game.
The next Highlanders game is Friday, February 1st at Centre 200 versus the London Lightning.
