
Highlanders Kenny "Big Ticket" Jones to Play in Argentina

Cape Breton Highlanders News Release
The Cape Breton Highlanders professional basketball team have announced that center/forward Kenny Jones has signed to play in Argentina. Jones will be leaving Cape Breton shortly.
Jones averaged 17.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 1.6 assists in 26.3 minutes per game.
Highlanders founder Tyrone Levingston said, "Kenny has been a key factor in our success this season. His commitment to winning and professionalism make him a great player and teammate. We are sorry to lose him but happy for his continued success."
Jones added, "I would like to thank the fans and the Cape Breton Highlanders organization, coaches, players, and staff for allowing me to play the game I love. A great team was formed this season and I'm glad I was able to be a part of it. Great things are to come to this organization and I thank Tyrone for allowing me to be a part of something special. This team will bring a championship to Cape Breton Island, just wait and see."
The Highlanders next game is Sunday, January 6th at 2PM against the Island Storm in Sydney.
