
Lightning Drop Game in Sudbury

(Sudbury, ON) The London Lightning dropped a game against the Sudbury Five on Friday night in Sudbury. The game was back and forth all night with neither team pulling ahead by double digits all game and both teams shooting above 55% from the field but the Lightning fell short down the streach due to poor free throw shooting and some tough turnovers. 129-124 was the final.
Leading the team offensively was AJ Gaines. Gaines Dropped 26 on 12 of 14 shooting. Marvell Waith finished with 23 points off the bench, Xavier Moon added 19 points. Mo Bolded had a double with 16 points and 10 rebounds, and Marvin Phillips had 13.
The Lightning's next game is Sunday January 6th 2019 Vs the Sudbury Five at 2pm at Budweiser Gardens.
