Quarter 2: Highlanders 54, Magic 52
The second quarter saw the Highlanders come out strong one again, playing solid team basketball. That margin wouldn't hold up long though, as Moncton managed to shoot a high percentage from the field with multiple 3s by Corey Allmond. Both teams traded baskets for much of the quarter but the Magic went on a run to end the half and cut the Highlanders lead to 2.
Quarter 3: Highlanders 71, Magic 76
The second half started with strong team play by the Magic who gained a large rebounding advantage in the 3rd quarter to take the lead. As the Magic tried to stretch out their lead, the Highlanders Olu Famutimi and Jamal Reynolds hit shots to keep them close. Both teams went on runs and the quarter ended with the Magic up 5.
Quarter 4: Highlanders 103, Magic 111
The final quarter saw Moncton maintaining a 5-point lead for much of the period. As time started to wind down, the Magic extended the lead, while the Highlanders fought back to keep it close. But the Magic held on for the win.
